Young Composers Project: Secrets Of Space
What does it smell like in space? What does it look like on your imaginary planet? How can we put that into sound?
During the Young Composers Project, six student groups from Utrecht International School sang, imagined, drew, played, improvised and composed. Each class collaboratively composed their own piece about the Secrets of Space, working towards a performance in TivoliVredenburg in April 2020, supported by an instrumental ensemble.
The final stages of the project unfortunately couldn’t take place as planned, due to the corona restrictions. It resulted in an online sharing of the work in progress.
